COVID-19 / Social Distancing Policy as of 03/11/20

Risk management is a key part of BDSM.  To that end, I believe we should all be thoughtful about social distancing in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Effective immediately, I am adopting the following policy regarding my events and private instruction. 

Events and Workshops

1. I will be evaluating in-person events on a case by case basis. 

2. You can ALWAYS cancel your registration for any event and receive a full refund up to 2 hours before the event. 

3. Where possible, events will be transitioned from in-person to online video-based events, generally at a lower price point.  If you’ve already registered for an event that is transitioned to an online format, you will automatically receive a refund for the price difference. You may also cancel and receive a full refund, of course.
   
   As an example, the March 12 Mastering Mastery and Subduing Submission: Making D/S Work workshop was offered as an online event, at a reduced fee of $20.
   
   Silver lining: Online classes are available world wide, without a commute.

4. Hands-on events where an online format isn’t practical will be cancelled, and full refunds will be issued to attendees.  Sadly, this includes the monthly All The Demos events. I am cancelling the March 18 All The Demos, and will evaluate subsequent events several days before each event.  NOTE: I will be developing a series of online demo events. Stay tuned for more information about this exciting new offering. 

5. You are invited to continue to put my events on your calendar, and to register for any event that hasn’t been cancelled, secure in the knowledge that you can cancel at any time, and that I will refund 100% of your registration fee if I cancel the event. 

Private Instruction

1. I am continuing to do private instruction.   

2. Much of my private instruction is coaching (like D/S or hypnosis), and it’s easy to maintain basic social distancing standards. 

3. For sessions that are hands-on (like rope), I’ll be self-screening (not testing) and will ask you to self-screen before our appointment. 

4. I’ll be taking reasonable precautions like enhanced environmental cleaning and offering hand sanitizer.
