Mastering Mastery and Subduing Submission: Making D/S Work - an ONLINE class
Workshop fee: $20/person. Buy your tickets here.
Dominant/submissive relationships can be supremely satisfying: you get all the love and mutual support of any good relationship, plus all the power that's implicit in D/S.
They're not easy though.
D/S requires mad skills, goodwill, self-awareness, and a willingness to be transparent and vulnerable.
Max has been doing consensual, deliberate, D/S since 1992. Not surprisingly, he has a lot to say about the topic.
Workshop structure
This workshop helps you identify what you want from D/S, and provides advanced skills and resources for finding and nurturing your ideal D/S relationship.
As with all of Max's workshops, a handout will be provided to facilitate your learning and retention.
Who should attend?
This workshop assumes no previous BDSM experience and is appropriate for all genders, all orientations, and for both tops and bottoms.
It's part of the D/S Series Max has delivered periodically since 2013. Each class in the series can be taken independently; there are no prerequisites for any of the classes.
Here are some great comments on FetLife from a prior iteration of this class.
Afterwards
Attendees will receive a handout full of principles, technique, and resources.
This is the first of a series of D/S classes, delivered roughly once per month. Upcoming topics in the series will likely include:
- Giving and Receiving Service
- Cultivating D/S through Ritual and Protocol
- D/S Training: How to Train and Be Trained
- Building Power Through Language and Suggestion
- Manifesting D/S Through Role Play
- Top Ten Skills for Successful D/S
- The Many Faces of D/S
- Constructing Successful D/S Scenes: Using What You Have to Get What You Want
Most of these classes have been taught previously. You can find a list of all of Max's prior workshops on his Curriculum Vitae.
Cancellation / refund policy
If you need to cancel your registration up to 2 hours before the event you will receive a full refund.
