Join Max for an exciting journey into the world of electrical play.
Workshop format
We’ll explore the many varieties of electrical toys available, including violet wands, stun guns, TENS-type units, e-stim products, and a variety of attachments and electrodes.
We’ll talk about how to use electrical play for pleasure, for pain, for fear and for arousal. This play can be primal, sensual, scary, or downright delightful. What’s your intention?
Of course we’ll review safety, consent and negotiation, because when it comes to electrical play, there’s a lot to consider. There’s a lot of misinformation out there, and we’ll try to clear that up too.
This workshop will include demos and opportunities to experience what the toys feel like. If you’ve brought a willing partner we’ll also have opportunities for you to use the toys on them.
By the end of this workshop you’ll have all the information you need to evaluate and purchase electrical toys, to negotiate competently, and to incorporate these fabulous devices into your play.
Who should attend?
This workshop is appropriate for all genders, all orientations, and for tops and bottoms.
Afterwards
Attendees receive an illustrated handout full of principles, safety information, and basic technique. Attendees also receive a 20% discount coupon for purchases at Lover's Lair.
Max will be available after the workshop to help you shop for electrical toys..
Cancellation / refund policy
If you cancel your registration up to 2 hours before the event you will receive a full refund.
If we cancel the event you will receive a 100% refund, to include ticketing fees.
COVID protocols
We are navigating the current CDC guidelines and our own sense of safety and reasonableness. The protocol for this event is based on our own research and risk assessment; we encourage you to do the same before you purchase your ticket. If you’d like to attend, please follow these protocols:
- Attendees must be fully vaccinated as of the event date. That means 2 weeks after the final dose of your series (1 for J&J, 2 for Pfizer or Moderna).
- You will be asked to provide a proof of vaccination as you enter. If you prefer, you can email Max a copy of your vaccine card ahead of time. In the interest of privacy, I’ll delete the card after I’ve confirmed your vaccination status.
- Masks will not be required. You may, of course, wear a mask if you wish.
- Please do not attend if you are exhibiting COVID symptoms or you are exposed to someone who has tested positive in the 14 days before the event.
