Some of us may fantasize frequently; some of us may think we don’t fantasize at all. Some fantasies may be elaborate and impossible, with mythical or alien creatures; some may be as subtle, sweet, and simple as imagining a lover’s hand brushing against your back. Some may be memories of peak erotic experiences; some may be born purely of hope.
Fantasies are simply eroticized thoughts that, similar to dreams, can be messages from our subconscious. They're there to give us information about our desires, our fears, our curiosities, and ourselves as erotic beings. They might be puzzling, confusing or emotional. They might act as gateways to intense arousal and stimulation. And they might be drastically different depending on our mood, our current relationship or immediate situation.
In what ways do your fantasies and erotic thoughts show up in your life? What roles do they play in shaping your identity as an erotic being? How can they be in service to your Eros?
In this online gathering, we will explore those questions and more. Through facilitated group discussion and a short writing exercise, we will explore the power of our erotic minds. Although there will be an opportunity to talk about specific fantasies, nobody will be required to share or speak out loud their fantasies.
This workshop assumes no previous BDSM experience, and is appropriate for all genders, all orientations, and for both tops and bottoms.
