Developing The Perfect Script - A Beginner’s Guide

Want to come up with powerful and engaging scripts on the fly? Can you figure out what a play partner is into or what makes them hot? Are you looking for ways to feel more confident and effective with your patter?

This interactive workshop will help you get in touch with what makes a powerful script, and why asking particular questions is key to eliciting the most response and the best experience.

You will learn how to identify concepts and language that resonates with your subject, and how to craft scripts from these building blocks.

In this workshops you will:

• Understand what questions to ask your partner.
• Learn what cues to notice and how to incorporate them into the experience.
• Use Max’s template as a guide as you do a practice interview and identify keywords and concepts to use when you build a script.
• See how these interviews can be conducted in fluid, conversational ways
• Practice reading your scripts to gain comfort with the process and to begin learning what works best for you as a hypnotist.

Building Power Through Language And Suggestion

Words matter. We use them to negotiate, to reinforce, to direct, to persuade, and to control. Our words can build our partners up or we can use words to disempower, to dominate or to acquiesce. This workshop helps you find the right words, based on your intention.

Language matters for both sides of the Dominant/Submissive slash. Dominants use language to direct a submissive’s actions, to shape their thinking, and to reinforce agreed-upon behavior. Submissives use language to convey respect, to acknowledge authority, and to fulfill their responsibility to communicate fully and authentically. Submissives also use language to support and shape their dominants.

The concepts, demonstrations and exercises in this class will help you negotiate more precisely, lead more clearly, and express submission, reverence and devotion more fully.

We’ll highlight a variety of ways to utilize language and suggestion as part of your D/S repertoire. The importance of trust and consent will be stressed, and we’ll demonstrate and practice ways to increase clarity and valid consent while reducing the risk of going into compliance. Language helps build a safe container for D/S, and we’ll address the various ways to build and maintain headspace, both for the dominant and the submissive. We’ll also talk about how both parties can listen better, thereby reducing the risk of miscommunication.

Finally, we’ll introduce some hypnotic techniques that can be used to enhance your D/S. Hypnosis isn’t a requirement for making your language more powerful, but it’s a great addition to these other techniques.

This workshop will include lecture, demos and (optional) exercises. There will be some time for Q&A as well.

This workshop is appropriate for all genders, all orientations, and for tops and bottoms. Please note that much of the material is specifically aimed at bottoms. As with all of Max’s workshops, a handout will be provided to facilitate your learning and retention.

Hypnotic Rope - Binding the Mind with Rope, Binding the Body with Suggestion

Max began his hypnotic career by accidentally putting his rope bottoms into trance. When he discovered the hypnokink community and actually learned about hypnosis one of his first "tricks" was "frozen" - bondage without rope.

In this workshop we'll discuss merging the two - binding the mind with rope, binding the body with suggestion. We'll explore different ways to use rope to induce trance, and ways to explicitly use hypno to create and enhance the experience of being bound. The class includes some specific ties and lots of hints, tricks, and fun ideas.
