Discovering and Defining Titles in D/S Relationships featuring Heyden

As new D/S relationships begin and evolve, there are so many decisions to make. One vital one is to discover if the titles you choose are prescriptive or descriptive. Are you “Sir” and therefore you do X, Y, and Z because that’s what “Sirs” do? Or does your relationship grow and develop organically, and one day you realize you’re always doing X, Y, and Z, so you are probably a “Sir”.

In this class, Heyden will present his views about how to develop a D/S relationship in ways that are fulfilling and satisfying for everyone involved, even if you’ve never identified with or explored D/S in a relationship before.

Identifying relationships and behaviors, and determining the roles everyone will encompass will be discussed at length. In addition, we’ll talk about how to find the right word(s) to describe yourself, your partner, and your relationship to the rest of the world.

Finally, we’ll talk about how titles can change as you change and as the relationship itself changes, all while keeping the relationship solid and strong.

This workshop will include lecture, demos, and lots of opportunities for Q&A.

As with all of the workshops Max teaches or produces, a handout will be provided to facilitate your learning and retention.

This workshop assumes no previous BDSM experience and is appropriate for all genders, all orientations, and for both tops and bottoms. It’s perfectly appropriate to bring a partner – or two – to this workshop.
