Building Intimacy and Connection Through Kink

Have you been curious about kink and wanted to hear more about it? Perhaps you already use some kink and BDSM practices in your life to play and want to to explore different dynamics in your relationships. Or perhaps you've encountered some kink and haven't had a clear sense of how it can be positive, empowering and intimate.

Many people equate intimacy with sex, but they are two very different things. Intimacy has a quality of connection that may or may not include sex. In Max's experience, kink is one of the most effective ways to build intimacy. In this workshop, we will be learning ways to use kink to build connection, intimacy and depth.

We will be limiting this workshop to a very small group, probably no more than 12-15 people. It's perfectly appropriate to come to this workshop alone, or with a friend or partner.

Most of the workshop will be demonstrations and discussion. There may be opportunities to practice a bit, but participating in the practicing is not required.

This workshop assumes no previous kink/BDSM experience and is fully appropriate for all genders, all orientations, and for both tops and bottoms. Attendees who are already somewhat skilled at embodied and connective practices will find this material especially resonant.

As with all of Max’s workshops, a handout will be provided to facilitate your learning and retention.
