Hogties and Ebis (Sold Out)
A well-tied hogtie is a beautiful thing, accentuating the curves and muscles of the body under stress.
It can range from mildly restrictive to excruciating, and is notable for the way the stresses build over time.
The ebi is the perfect complement to a hogtie.
It's equally rigorous, deeply steeped in tradition, and an excellent counterpose to the hogtie.
Both ties can be done anywhere, on nearly any bottom, making them an essential part of any rope top's arsenal. You don't need a hard point, a big room, or a partner who's an athlete.
These are ties that reward patient tops. They're intimate and approachable, but will satisfy any sadist when given a little time. For the bottom, these ties can be almost Zen like in their stillness.
We'll explore multiple versions of the hogtie and the ebi, showing you how to adjust the rigor of each tie to match your mood, your objectives, and your bottom's stamina.
We'll spend some time discussing the concepts and safety considerations relevant to these stress positions, but most of this workshop is hands-on. You'll get lots of time to have fun and develop your skills, and you'll be able to tie several hogtie and ebi variations by the end of the workshop.
No prior knowledge of bondage or knots is assumed for this class - it's perfectly appropriate for beginners, and for all genders and orientations.
If you can, come with a practice partner. If you don't have a partner, come anyway and we'll make sure you get a chance to practice the basic techniques. Rope Bottoms: this is your chance to meet some rope tops! Come learn and get tied up.
Loaner rope will be available for the workshop, but bring the following if you can
- (3) 10-foot pieces of 6mm or 8mm
- (3) 30-foot pieces of 6mm or 8mm
