Topping to the Next Level: Hot Negotiation
If you think negotiation is finding out what your bottom likes and doesn't like you're missing the best parts.
Negotiation is the foundation for the scene.
It establishes consent, builds trust, sets a tone, creates expectations and identifies boundaries. With the right tools, it can also be hot, seductive and wickedly effective.
We'll explore:
- What is the real purpose of negotiation?
- Where does the negotiation end and the scene begin?
- What objectives should you pursue when you negotiate?
- When should your negotiation NOT lead to a scene?
- What is your negotiation style?
- Does your style suite your purpose and persona?
- What are some specific techniques for eliciting engagement, obtaining consent and gathering information?
Learn how to negotiate more powerfully and effectively. You're scenes will be better for it.
Bondage from the Bottom's Perspective
This workshop introduces a model for categorizing bondage bottoms, and includes demonstrations showing how specific bondage elements impact a bottom physically, mentally and emotionally.
If you are looking for a "beyond technique" bondage workshop, this is for you.
Hearing what's going on in someone's head when they're bound will make you a more capable bottom and a more creative top.
Hogties and Ebis
A well-tied hogtie is a beautiful thing, accentuating the curves and muscles of the body under stress. It can range from mildly restrictive to excruciating, and is notable for the way the stresses build over time.
The ebi is the perfect complement to a hogtie. It's equally rigorous, deeply steeped in tradition, and an excellent counterpose to the hogtie.
Both ties can be done anywhere, on nearly any bottom, making them an essential part of any rope top's arsenal. You don't need a hard point, a big room, or a partner who's an athlete.
These are ties that reward patient tops. They're intimate and approachable, but will satisfy any sadist when given a little time. For the bottom, these ties can be almost Zen like in their stillness.
We'll explore multiple versions of the hogtie and the ebi, showing you how to adjust the rigor of each tie to match your mood, your objectives, and your bottom's stamina.
We'll spend some time discussing the concepts and safety considerations relevant to these stress positions, but most of this workshop is hands-on. You'll get lots of time to have fun and develop your skills, and you'll be able to tie several hogtie and ebi variations by the end of the workshop.
Making Your Rope Scenes HOT
We all start our learning with basic skills - how to perform the elements of a scene and how to master the tools we’ve chosen to use. Rope tops learn knots, develop a few bondage positions and absorb a lot of safety information.
That’s not why we do scenes though – we do them because they’re engaging, powerful and HOT.
In this intimate workshop, Max demonstrates how to move from restraint to dominance, and from basic skills to mastery. Rope bondage is the context for this workshop, but many of the techniques are applicable to any scene.
We’ll start with a scene demonstrating the use of rope, voice, motion and affect to create headspace and establish mood. After the opening scene Max discusses specific techniques you can incorporate to elicit the responses you want. If you want to build scenes instead of technical exercises, this workshop's for you.
