Hot Negotiation

If you think negotiation is finding out what your bottom likes and doesn't like you're missing the best parts.
Negotiation is the foundation for the scene.
It establishes consent, builds trust, sets a tone, creates expectations and identifies boundaries.
With the right tools, it can also be hot, seductive and wickedly effective.
We'll explore:
- What is the real purpose of negotiation?
- Where does the negotiation end and the scene begin?
- What objectives should you pursue when you negotiate?
- When should your negotiation NOT lead to a scene?What is your negotiation style?
- Does your style suite your purpose and persona?
- What are some specific techniques for eliciting engagement, obtaining consent and gathering information?
Learn how to negotiate more powerfully and effectively. You're scenes will be better for it.
Exploring Service

Many kinksters love the idea of service, but struggle to make it work.
That's not surprising - service interactions require a different toolset than sensation-based S/M or power-based D/S.
In this workshop Max will present several models for service relationships, and will provide specific techniques you can use to define and nurture your own service dynamic.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have a better understanding of service and an increased awareness of how to offer service cleanly and to receive it gracefully.
Non-Rope Bondage

Do you prefer the bite of a handcuff to the caress of rope.? Are you having trouble tying all those knots? Does the sound of a handcuff ratcheting into place get you hard or wet?
Seattle's a big rope town, and it's easy to forget that there are LOTS of ways to restrain someone without rope.
Come get up close and personal with a whole lot of bondage gear. We'll have leather sleepsacks, straitjackets, cuffs, a cage, hoods and more. After some introductory comments, most pieces will be available for your hands-on experimentation.
For each type of gear, Max will address
- What makes it special and cool
- Gear-specific technique
- Safety considerations specific to this type of gear
- Where to get it
If you're a rope fan, this workshop may open your eyes to a new world of play. And if you like bondage gear you'll love the opportunity to see and use some cool gear.

Max has been doing D/S for 20+ years. He's gotten pretty good at it, and has learned about it in the traditional way: by making mistakes.
As a result, the tools Max provides in this workshop are battle-tested and ready for use in in your own relationships.
We'll explore the following areas:
- Defining scope - what does your D/S look like?
- Submitting from a position of strength
- Preparing yourself to receive submission
- Avoiding and handling emotional snares
- Manifesting D/S when life gets in the way
- What to do when your D/s gets tired
We all want to make our D/S powerful and tangible. This workshop should help.
