This workshop focuses on the most common whips used for BDSM - 3' and 4' signal whips. It's specifically designed for the rank beginner who's considering a whip purchase or who has a whip and hasn't used it much.
- Whip construction (with a guest appearance by Nell, who made Max's whip)
- Where to hit / where not to hit
- Warming up your whip / warming up your bottom
- Basic technique
- What to buy and where to buy it
This is a very hands-on class. After the introductory material, we'll spend most of our time throwing the whips. If you'd rather just watch and listen, that's OK too.
What to bring:
- Your whip, if you have one
- A practice partner, if you have one (if not, we'll practice on each other)
- A leather jacket
As with all of Max's workshops, a handout will be provided to facilitate your learning and retention.
This workshop assumes no previous BDSM experience and is appropriate for all genders, all orientations, and for both tops and bottoms.
