Basic Body Assessment for Bondage
Saturday January 5th, 2008
1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
in the Annex at the Center for Sex Positive Culture (CSPC) in Seattle
Rope bondage is an exciting and dynamic play style with its own set of risks and challenges.
This workshop presents basic techniques for evaluating the suitability of your bottom for certain bondage positions and play styles. Specific topics include:
- Basic anatomy and energetics
- Developing the visual, verbal and manual skills necessary to ensure that both top and bottom have a safe and satisfying bondage session
- Common problems, their warning signs and troubleshooting techniques
These skills are an important part of being an effective, confident and responsible rope top.
Bottoms / practice partners While no "practice partner" is required for this workshop, bottoms are strongly encouraged to attend. You are ultimately responsible for your own safety, and an understanding of your body is one of your most powerful tools.
This workshop assumes no previous bondage experience, and is appropriate for all genders and orientations.
