Workshop fee: $30
Workshop + party (CSPC members only): $35

The "Bondage is the Point" party afterward is limited to Wet Spot members, who will receive a $5 discount if they attend both the workshop and the party.
Many of us don't have the luxury of working with bottoms who are smaller and lighter than we are. And some bottoms are more cooperative than others.
This workshop will enhance the top's ability to work against
- The bottom's lack of awareness of what the top wants
- The bottom's physical inertia
- The bottom's larger body mass
- Mild resistance
- Gravity
This is not a take down class - to be done safely, take downs require a degree of control which cannot be taught in a single workshop.
We will supply tools you can use to
- Increase both partners' body awareness
- Enhance the top's ability to control and position the bottom while tying them up
- Work with a larger or stronger bottom.
In addition to presenting basic concepts and some demos, the workshop contains exercises like these:
- Sensitivity / touch drills
- Using the eight points that inspire movement
- Come-alongs
- Head control
- Transitions
- Tips and tricks for getting rope on a reluctant body
- Tall-to-small - What do you need to know?
- Small -to-tall - How can a small person move a bigger body? This section will include a demo.
This is primarily a hands-on workshop. While a practice partner is not required, this workshop will work best if you come with a practice partner.
If you show up alone and would like a practice partner, we'll try to pair you up with someone. We'll have plenty of time to reverse roles as we go along, or you can designate who takes the top and bottom roles.
Please note that the bottom role is not a passive role. As the class moves through each exercise, we will discuss how the bottom should maintain awareness and be responsible for their own safety.
As usual, there'll be an illustrated handout to help you remember what was covered and to provide additional references.
This workshop assumes no previous bondage experience, and is appropriate for all genders and orientations.
