Raw 8 mm will be available at $0.30/foot; 6 mm will be $0.20/foot. 

Wet Spot membership is NOT required for the workshop.  Bring ID to verify that you're at least 18 years old.

The "Bondage is the Point" party afterward is limited to Wet Spot members, who will receive a $5 discount if they attend both the workshop and the party.

Come learn how to turn raw hemp rope into a bondage tool worth putting in your toy bag.

Rope care is an essential skill for both rope tops and their bottoms.  Caring for your top's rope is a valuable service in many relationships.  And rope tops need a good working knowledge of their equipment even if they choose to purchase finished rope.

While there are some wonderful sources for finished hemp rope, it's also nice to start with raw hemp and finish it yourself.  It takes time and effort, but it's satisfying to play with your "own" rope.

Each student will buy and finish a piece of raw hemp as part of the workshop.  Finishing steps include whipping each end with a sailmaker's whipping, dry-finishing, and a final rubbing with mink oil.

When we're done you will have learned the basic skills necessary to maintain your own hemp rope and you'll have a length of rope that can be used by you or on you.

We're pleased to have Jim Duvall leading this workshop.  Jim has presented this topic a number of times for Libido Events in Canada, to great acclaim.

Monk (www.TwistedMonk.com) will be on hand to sell raw hemp.  Prices will be 30 cents / foot for 8 mm and 20 cents / foot for 6 mm.  Monk will also have finished rope and other equipment for sale.

This workshop assumes no previous bondage experience, and is appropriate for all genders and orientations.
