In May we'll have a special guest presenter - Max's great friend Tom Wood will be teaching "Single-Point Suspension Bondage".

Imagine suspending someone 75 feet off the ground.  Imagine looking into the fourth floor of an elevator shaft, directly into the eyes of your suspended bottom.  Imagine suspension bondage with adjustable height.  Imagine spinning.  Suspension bondage is the ultimate in control.  Learn how to apply single-point suspension techniques to make your imagination reality.

The workshop covers single point suspension concepts, equipment, knots, and several suspension positions.  Single point suspension differs from other suspension techniques in that it can be used to achieve very high suspensions.  Appropriate risk reduction techniques will be discussed throughout.

In light of the demanding nature of this material, the workshop's size will be limited to 30 people.  As we expect the workshop to fill up, pre-registration is encouraged.

Contact the Wet Spot prior to the event to reserve a space.

The class will consist of a several demonstration suspensions, discussion, and direct teaching of two suspension positions.  About half of the class will consist of hands-on practice time where you can try your hand at both positions.  As the class size is being limited, you'll have plenty of time for focused instruction to help you learn safe suspension techniques in a friendly, low-pressure environment.  The emphasis is on learning, having fun, and building confidence.

If you can, come with a practice partner.  If you don't have a partner, come anyway - we'll be forming small groups for the practice sessions.  Rope Bottoms - this is your chance to meet some rope tops.  Come learn and maybe you'll get tied up!

Bring good, strong rope for the workshop.  As a minimum, bring (4) 10' lengths and (4) 20-25' lengths of strong, 3/8" or 5/16" rope.  If you can, add a 50' piece.

If you don't have suitable rope, Max will have some 5/16 Trophy Braid available for sale at 0.55/foot.  Please show up 15 minutes early if you would like to buy rope.
