Rope Bondage 201

Sunday January 4th, 2004

2:30 PM to 5:00 PM

January’s topic is “Rope Bondage 201”

So – you’ve learned the “fundamentals”, one way or another.

This workshop helps you get to the next level by addressing a number of topics which are applicable to most rope bondage scenes.

We’ll talk about rope – types, diameters, strength – and we’ll have plenty of rope on-hand to feel and evaluate.

We’ll talk about resources for rope bondage – where to find rope, hardware, and information.

We’ll talk about knots, and we’ll practice some of the basic knots you’ll use in your bondage scenes.

We’ll talk about bondage positions - for fun, for pleasure, for pain, for sex, and for aesthetics.

And we’ll talk about the “soft” parts of a bondage scene – things like rhythm, pace, connection, and showmanship.

Much of the class will consist of hands-on exercises to help you get familiar with the material in a friendly, low-pressure environment.  The emphasis is on learning, having fun, and building confidence.

Some rope will be provided for the workshop, but bring two 10’ lengths and three 20-25’ lengths of 3/8” rope if you can.

Wet Spot membership is NOT required for the workshops.

The “Bondage is the Point” party afterward is limited to Wet Spot  members, who will receive a $5 discount if they attend both the workshop and the party.

Open to adults with legal ID.

Adult: $25

Member attending the following party: $30
